Just pulled my latest tulipiere from the kiln and couldn’t be more surprised and happy! It’s not exactly what I thought it would look like but even better! Hours of work goes into making these, it sat on the shelf for weeks while I contemplated how to glaze it and you never know how it’ll turn out but this time it was surely a win! If you’re a potter you probably know what these are, I have a fascination with these little curls of clay that I scrape off the bat after removing a thrown piece. I decided to bisque them and then swiped some cobalt wash on them and fire 🔥 again. I’m kinda liking them as a decoration filler for now.
