Meet the Maker: Cherie Hightower

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to find out more about me and my pottery. I appreciate you and your support so much!

I am fairly new to pottery as pottery goes, but have been throwing constantly and consistently since 2017. My pottery journey began out of a need for self care and it grew into a small business fairly quickly. I began hosting sales from my home, and held a few trunk shows at local businesses, then created a website. I also host PopUps wherever I can in Edmond and the OKC area.
I work out of a small garage studio at my home in Edmond, Oklahoma.

I am also a 200 hour certified yoga instructor. This is where “The Lotus Potter” got its name. The Lotus flower roots grow in muddy water, yet produces the most beautiful flower. Just as pottery starts from clay and is formed to make beautiful pottery.
I am very grateful for the chance to do two things out of my home that give me as much joy and love as yoga and pottery. I hope you love and enjoy each piece of pottery as well!
